1. Entrance criteria

Any offer is subject to satisfactory references being endorsed by the Headmistress or a member of the Board of Governors.

2. Payment of fees and extras

Termly tuition fees plus any extras are payable in full, in advance, by the first day of term. Fees received up to 14 days before the payment date will attract a 1% discount. Conifers School also operates an Advance Payment of Fees Scheme, which attracts further discounts for lump sum advances and for fees paid annually in advance.

Full details are available upon request.

Late payment will attract interest and/or administration charges in accordance with the Governors’ regulations.

Parents can opt to pay fees in equal monthly instalments by standing order, to commence on the first day of the month in which the pupil starts their attendance at Conifers School. Refund/Waiver: Fees will not be refunded or waived for absence through sickness; or if a term is shortened or a vacation extended; or due to inclement weather inhibiting or preventing normal access to the school; or if a pupil is released home after public examinations or otherwise before the normal end of term; or for any other cause except at the sole discretion of the Headmistress who will act fairly when deciding whether or not to exercise her discretion.

3. Persons responsible for payment of fees and extras

The parents and/or any other person who undertakes to pay fees will be jointly and severally liable to pay all fees and extras notwithstanding any change in family circumstances.

4. Non-payment of fees and/or extras

The School may suspend a pupil from attending, or require the parents to withdraw the pupil permanently, if fees are not paid promptly by the due date. Fees due are payable in full in such circumstances.

5. Withdrawal

A full term’s notice of intention to withdraw a pupil from the School must be given in writing to the Headmistress, otherwise a full term’s fees will be payable.

6. Conduct and expectations

All pupils have an obligation, if required by the School, to take part in school games and other out-of-school activities, unless special exemption has been granted. Pupils are required to attend School and all time-tabled lessons punctually. Except in the event of illness, no pupil may be absent from School without prior permission in writing from the Headmistress.
