Conifers provides parents with flexibility with wraparound care for students available from 8am to 6pm.
We understand it can be difficult for parents to balance family, work and free time. Wrap-around after school care gives working parents the flexibility they need as well the reassurance that their children are in a safe, happy environment. Ideal for working parents, ‘wraparound childcare’ is care that teachers and schools provide to school children that is outside of typical school hours. At Conifers, we offer first-class aftercare for our pupils from 8am to 6pm, five days a week during term time.
During the holidays, we offer a year-round holiday club providing fun-packed weeks of activities in our secure and familiar setting. Children aged 3 years and over can enjoy our outstanding holiday club offering.
Breakfast club is offered to all pupils, including the Nursery and Pre-School, from 8.00am to 8:30am, when schools begins. Run by school-staff the children can enjoy a light breakfast such as fresh fruit, cereals, toast and juices if required.
At the end of the School day, Conifers pupils can join After School Care, which is largely aimed at our younger pupils where they can play, rest and enjoy a snack in a home from home environment. Pupils also have the option to stay and complete their homework or join a choice of after school clubs. These include: Multi-sports, ballet, outdoor learning, Forest School, choir, music ensembles, LAMDA drama tuition, chess club, philosophy, cookery, backgammon, journalistic writing, Conifers Award, dance, musical theatre, judo, ballet, horse riding, debating and many additional sports clubs including gymnastics, rugby, football, tennis, rounders, cricket, netball, hockey and ultimate frisbee.
Conifers offer a year-round Holiday Club, for 3 to 11 year olds. At Conifers, we offers high-quality outdoor adventures, with qualified, experienced staff, during each of our school holidays, and is located at Conifers School, Midhurst, West Sussex.
Using the beautiful Conifers Forest School site, in the heart of the South Downs National Park, we are based at the cricket pavilion on the sports field. We take pride in carefully crafting child-centred activities and enriching play opportunities for all the children who join us. We keep our number of children low and our number of adults high to ensure that each child can be cared for appropriately and are free to choose the skills they want to develop, with the individual support they need.
For those joining us for the first time or for those returning each holiday, we recognise the importance for each child not only to feel valued but also to thrive and try new things. With this in mind, each holiday camp comes with fresh and exciting nature-inspired ideas for your child to enjoy. Every day spent outdoors will add a special chapter in your child’s unique life journey, building skills like resilience, independence as well as gaining new friendships.
