Links with the community

Conifers actively pursues opportunities to work in partnership with others, in the local, national and international community.

We try to participate in any initiatives begun locally. We have exhibited models in shop windows as part of Madhurst, joined the South Pond Support Group for activity sessions, joined the Midhurst Music Society for a choral evening, recorded a dance for The Midhurst Happy video and invited local speakers to assembly.

Local church

We enjoy an excellent relationship with the Parish Church of St Mary, Easebourne, led by The Reverend Derek Welsman. We hold our Harvest Festival, Carol Service, Mother’s Day/spring service and Thanksgiving at the church, visiting at least once a term.

Throughout the year, the children raise money for a diverse number of charities. This is usually organised through the house system. We support local and national charities and last year donated to Homestart (Chichester), Macmillan Cancer Care, Children in Need, Sport Relief, the RSPCA and the Lockwood Donkey Sanctuary. We support the Poppy Appeal and donate all our harvest gifts to local charities.
